I made another Scotty Dogs quilt with fabric printed with Scotty Dogs! The border fabric which is a fun tiles print sets off the pieced Scotty dog blocks. I think I have enough of this border fabric to make one more of these quilts after this one. This one measuring 58”x69” is a nice lap sized quilt and would be enjoyed by any Scotty Dog fan.

I used Warm n’Natural batting and quilted this in an all over abstract design with black thread. The backing is a red fabric printed all over with Scotty dogs wearing bows.The binding is a black fabric printed all over with little Scotty dogs.

Bear Paw blocks are one of my favorite blocks to make.In this quilt I am show casing them again with an assortment of beautiful cool color batiks. I used a solid white batik for the background to really make the colors pop. This quilt measures 87”x101” and is up for sale on eBay. Please search for “Bear Paw Quilt”.

I had made a similar quilt using an assortment of blue batiks on a white background and that one has already sold.I had all these beautiful batik fabrics and just had to use them!

I used another beautiful batik with a white background and a swirl pattern in blues and purples for the backing,complimenting the front. I hand guided,machine quilted this one in an all over,edge to edge abstract design with white thread.

A colorful quilt to chase away the winter chill. Basket quilts are a fun classic design that I don’t make often enough. I chose a very colorful outer border fabric that I also used inside each basket.Set on point seems to be the best way to enjoy these baskets. I used that colorful floral fabric to help me choose two colors for each basket block,trying not to repeat combinations too closely.

I enjoyed making this quilt! The bright summer colors were fun to work with while in the middle of winter. I machine quilted this with an all over edge to edge abstract floral design with purple thread.

I chose a colorful floral designed fabric for the backing that adds even more fun color to this quilt.This quilt is going to be a cheerful addition to somebody’s quilt collection!

I’m working with some of my Civil War Reproduction fabrics again,as well as some fabrics in similar colors and designs. This time I’ve chosen a classic block that lends itself nicely to scrappy combinations. I did use an off white fabric printed with mini black flowers as the background in each block to manage all the scrappy colors.This quilt measures 57”x68” a nice throw size.This quilt was sold at a local church fair.

The border fabric has cute little houses in assorted colors on a navy blue background. I surrounded the inner churn dash block with simple strips of color to make a bigger block and add more scrappy colors to the mix.

I used a mini floral print in colors complimenting the front for the backing and hand guided machine quilted in an all over abstract design with a dark blue thread. I like how this one turned out!
